It works well with its lids. It is not compatible with the classic 86mm Bormioli Italian lids so I am opting to buy a set of glass lids compatible with the thousand jars I have at home. If I did not find them I would have to make the product even if it is functional because I would not know how to use it once the supplied lids are exhausted
